Ultra mobile computers and tablet computers offer the simplicity of touch with the independence and connectivity of a full fledged computer. They are lightweight, convenient, and ideal companions for mobile users. The touch screen interface is either controlled by a touch of the finger or optionally with a simple stylus with nylon tip (ultra mobile computers and finger touch enabled touch screen tablet computers) or it is controlled via a digitizer pen (tablet computers).

In a bundle with Digivey software, the handheld survey stations are particularly useful for computer-assisted data collection. When used for mobile data collection, workload and costs are drastically reduced.
